We are looking for an outgoing and energetic self-starter with good knowledge of Building Materials and Construction projects to be part of our sales team. Great personality, ambition and ability to work well with people are required besides technical knowledge. Experience in residential and agricultural steel is an asset.

**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES** -Develop plans and specifications for residential and commercial customers and contractors. -Estimate the material requirements for projects. -Understand and be able to explain building code requirements to customers. -Prepare lists of materials based upon blueprints. -Submit quotes and estimates personally and in timely manner to customers -Establish relationships with new customers and expand the company market -Follow up quotes and estimates contacting customers personally or by phone as needed -Up-sell features and benefits to customers -Assist customers in locating and comparing merchandise. -Process cash sales, invoices and provide general help to all our customers -Prepare reports, forecasts and other documents as requested.

**EDUCATION/SKILL REQUIRED**
- Post-secondary diploma in architectural technology, construction technology or equivalent work related experience of at least 5 years. -Ability to work co-operatively in team atmosphere. -Communicate effectively with employees, management, customers, and suppliers. -Read, comprehend, and interpret information relative to your position presented in written and printed formats, as well as pertinent data stated in numerical and/or statistical form to prepare designs and estimates promptly and accurately. -Operate equipment necessary to this position safely and efficiently including, but not limited to: computer, drafting software, Internet, FAX, telephone, etc. -Have proper training in drafting, designing, estimating, and blueprint reading. -Excellent mathematical skills. -Valid G Driver’s License.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
