The Monastery Bistro, in Monastery Spa is currently seeking **Café Attendant/ Server ** provide coffee, food and drink service to guests.

Some responsibilities include:

- Prepare and serve breakfast items and lunch orders, appetizers and room service orders
- Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee, teas, smoothies and alcohol
- Prepare variety of fresh baked goods daily as well as lunches and evening meals
- Greet guests, ensuring friendly, professional, and accurate service to guests
- Present food and beverage menus to guests
- Become familiar with menu descriptions and beverage lists in order to discuss items appropriately with guests, and conduct oneself in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
- Cafe attendants follow food safety guidelines, environmental, and work place safety policies and procedures
- Each attendant may be required to perform all functions in various food and beverage service
- Participate in special events, or functions
- Garnish and decorate dishes as required prior to serving
- Enter food and beverage orders in the point-of-sale system, and process payment
- Maintain bistro, including kitchen, table pieces, and chairs in a clean and orderly manner
- Observe guests to anticipate their needs and responds to any additional requests and to determine when the food and beverage service has been completed
- Carry dirty dishes from respective dining area to kitchen. Clean table tops and chairs with damp cloth. Replace soiled table linens and set tables with silverware
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of working area in accordance with all health and safety, company standards
- Attend meetings, training activities, and all other work-related activities as required
- Perform related duties as required. Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management.
