**The role**

**The responsibilities**
- Participate in the review and approval of the project management plan with the Private Development Partner during the co-development phase of the railway program, covering all aspects of schedule.
- Oversee project schedules, track progress, assist the Private Development Partner in identifying critical paths, and mitigate schedule risks to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Establish and implement standardized documents and reporting formats for schedule control, ensuring consistency and clarity in communication across various project stakeholders.
- Provide accurate and timely project schedule reports, offering data-driven analyses for informed decision-making for project stakeholders, including executive leadership, investors, and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with the Risk Management team to identify project schedule risks and develop risk mitigation plans to minimize potential impacts on project timelines and budgets.
- Foster positive relationships and effective communication with the Private Development Partner, government agencies, community stakeholders, and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

**The requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a schedule management or project control’s role.
- Proven experience in schedule management, particularly in large-scale infrastructure projects such as rail, transportation, or construction projects.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Being fluent in both Canadian official languages is required.
- Knowledge of Primavera is an asset.
