Outside Sales Representative

**Job description**
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- 3-5 years sales experience in the automation industry or below
- Previous sales experience required
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Customer service focused
- Ability to manage time effectively with minimum supervision
**Specific Responsibilities**:
- Complete prospecting and follow-up calls to market Sort business
- Proactively building relationships by conducting regular sales calls/visits to existing customers
- Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details within CRM software on a daily basis
- Work in conjunction with Suppliers (Sick, Turck, LED) and sales team by completing joint calls
- Complete customer demonstrations to maximize customer experience and product awareness. May also include a trial/demo unit, to enhance customer experience
- Plan and deliver a variety of workshops
- Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events as required
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, showcasing account planning/activity to be review with Sales Manager on a regular basis
- Ensure the achievement of sales objectives on a monthly basis
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
