**Team & Job Overview**

The Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) group under the leadership of the Chief Information Officer was established in 2023 with the mission of empowering our customers and colleagues to take on the world, by seamlessly delivering secure and reliable digital experiences. Digital & Technology Solutions has set out to achieve the following objectives for EDC:

- Define, execute, and sustain the integrated technology target state, target data model and technology operations required to enable EDC’s 2030 business transformation.
- Establish and manage the rolling 3 Year Digital Roadmap that sequences the technology outcomes required to achieve the technology target state and facilitate its execution across all domains in the organization.
- Keep pace with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring EDC has access to the digital technology tools it needs to stay relevant in the market and grow Canadian global trade.
- Lead and ensure integrated digital, data, infrastructure, and cybersecurity implementations to create excellent customer, user, and employee experiences.

The Enterprise Information Security (EIS) team is looking for an experienced resource to perform the role of Cybersecurity Operations Analyst, Training and Awareness to work with EIS leadership, cybersecurity team and key stakeholders to define outcomes, develop tactical plans and security requirements, and lead security projects that address information security risks with a focus on protecting EDC’s digital assets.

This role will require significant cross-functional collaboration and is critical in supporting the fundamental elements of the Enterprise Information Security strategy and team operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plays a pivotal role in enhancing EDC’s security posture by developing and implementing a strategy to improve desired cyber-safe behaviours as well as threat awareness and detection skills.
- Leads the planning, execution, monitoring, reporting operational and change initiatives under the Training & Awareness work stream.
- Designs and executes simulated phishing campaigns that are based on real threat trends or emerging risks (two simulated phishing campaigns per month). Adjusting tactics to ensure they are relevant to the target audience (all staff or specific team e.g. Finance).
- Research/plan and deliver content for ongoing cybersecurity awareness communications, e.g. Cyber Tips (weekly), Yammer posts.
- Create engaging and interactive awareness materials, including onboarding modules, workshops, scripts, tip sheets/job aids, short videos, reports and simulations, to effectively educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
- Provides support for security governance activities, including managing communication about security policies, standards, and control frameworks;
- Stays abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to continuously enhance cybersecurity awareness content.
- Organizes and manages virtual events, pre-recorded videos, and podcasts to engage EDC employees using a variety of media channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reinforce desired behaviours and tailor awareness content based on specific roles and responsibilities within the organization (e.g. Finance, HR, Help Desk, Product Owners).
- Conduct regular cybersecurity awareness assessments to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Establishes and updates metrics and KPIs to gauge the effectiveness of security awareness programs. Updates phishing metrics, reports and provides insight on behaviours or trends.
