We are looking for an experienced Learning Technology Integrationist to join our Morven Campus. This new position plays a key role in enhancing learning with and about technology for students and teachers across the grade 8-12 (Morven) campus. The Learning Technology Integrationist works closely with the members of faculty and divisional leadership teams, parents and students, and other members of staff to ensure the responsible and creative use of technology, and identify, share, and promote best practice involving digital tools and the integration of technology in teaching and learning.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support deep integration of Digital Literacy and Citizenship (DLC) programming in the school community
- Work with teachers to integrate technology to enhance student learning
- Support Collingwood’s Strategic Plan goals for technology
- Participate in learning technology and related committees, focus and professional learning groups within Collingwood and beyond
- Support the school’s co-curricular programs through development and oversight of technology-related clubs, activities or opportunities
- Stay current and share with colleagues information about emerging learning technologies, teaching strategies, and research with respect to technology for teaching and learning
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education, Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in educational technology
- BC Teaching Certification
- Canadian residency and legally entitled to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications and Experiences
- Master’s degree in Educational Technology
- 5 years or more in a K-12 educational role which is focused on technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of current trends in educational technology
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to the use of technology in the classroom
