**Job Profile**:
We are currently seeking motivated Kitchen Stewards to join our culinary team at Stills Co. Tapas Lounge. The Kitchen Steward will support kitchen leadership in the daily execution of service, prep, and cleaning/sanitization. The Kitchen Steward is the heartbeat of the culinary team and will play a vital role in providing a memorable experience for our guests and will be a reliable member of our team who is open to learning and growing.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
The Kitchen Steward will report to both the Chef de Cuisine and the Sous Chef. Responsibilities of the Kitchen Steward include but are not limited to the following:

- Providing clean dishes, cutlery, baking & cooking equipment
- Operating industrial grade cleaning machinery and tools
- Exposure to food service grade chemical cleaning supplies
- Upkeep clean and sanitary conditions of dishwashing areas and kitchen spaces and ensure that proper sanitation techniques are maintained at all times
- Assisting with culinary prep duties and adhering to requests from Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef
- General cleaning - mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, cleansing, polishing
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Displaying a positive personality, smile, and promoting constructive work environments
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
- Be reliable, open to learning, and show up to work in a timely manner, dressed and ready to go
- Carry out any other duties and tasks as assigned
- Proper use of knowledge of all cuisine, equipment, chemicals, and procedures
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks with accuracy and speed
- Leads by example in maintaining a clean, neat, and presentable appearance
- Maintains professional conduct at all times
- Wears proper attire and works in a safe, clean, efficient and organized manner
- Must be pro-active and execute any other duties as requested by immediate supervisors
- Works effectively in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment

**Physical requirements**:

- Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, stoop and lift weight up to 50 lbs and give lots of high fives
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Occasional ascending or descending flights
