Custom Castings Ltd. is looking for a motivated individual who will aid in and ultimately program, set-up and operate various CNC and manual equipment to produce tools, molds and other machined components.
- Fabricate, maintain and repair tooling and their components.
- Set-up, operate and program various machining equipment (manual and CNC).
- Use of interpersonal skills, co-operating with supervisors and colleagues.
- Foster relationships with other employees to enhance the team environment.
- Ability to work with CAM software or being willing and able to learn it.
- MasterCAM experience considered an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills.
- Use of a manual lathe, mill and other shop equipment.
- Use of precision measuring instruments.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment with a wide variety of work.
- Level two apprentice or a valid Manitoba / Inter-Provincial Journeyman Machinist / Tool & Die Ticket would be an asset.
