Childcare Cook

Learning Tree Childcare is looking for an experience chef/cook for our growing team.

**What will you be doing?**

As a cook, you will prepare nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack for the children in our center.

**Responsibilities**:
*Preparing meals from a set menu

*Ensuring safety and sanitization in the kitchen environment as per public health requirements

*understanding dietary restrictions in center for individual children

*washing dishes after meals

other duties as assigned

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- English not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Georgetown, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
