**Position Overview**:
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Health Records Processing/Transcription, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface General Hospital, the RECEPTIONIST II is responsible for: performing all receptionist duties; receiving requests for medical records and patient information; and performing other related duties as assigned.

**Experience**:

- Six(6) months experience in the Health Records Department of a hospital.

or
- One(1) year clerical experience in a clinical area.

**Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)**:

- Grade XII or recognized equivalent.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Keyboarding speed: 45 wpm.
- Ability to work in a Windows operating environment.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Legible handwriting.
- Ability to interact well with others.
- Polite and courteous telephone manner.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement.
