Our **Timberlands Liquor Store** in Red Deer is looking for a full-time **Liquor Supervisor** **to join our team.
**Full-time**: 40 hours/week. Benefit eligible after 3 months.
This position provides benefits, if you are coming from out of province please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
**Availability requirements**: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons and evenings.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide outstanding customer service,
- Schedule staff, supervise, and assist with training,
- Oversee and handle sales transactions, daily cash-ups, price look up’s, promotions, etc.,
- Assist the manager in the organization, direction, and coordination of the department to achieve budgeted goals,
- Process accurate paperwork in a timely manner,
- Ensure a safe work and shopping environment,
- Inventory management; training for ordering will be provided,
- Some administrative duties,
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
**Qualifications**:
- Valid ProServe certification,
- Retail liquor experience,
- Some knowledge on merchandising such as building effective displays,
- Exceptional customer service skills,
- Excellent communication skills,
- Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment,
- Good delegation skills with a focus on customer service,
- Organizational and problem-solving skills,
- Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changes,
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consecutively as there will be off loading of pallets.
