We are looking for a dynamic and collaborative individual to join our Planning Team Directly in line with the Town of Innisfil’s Strategic Plan 2030, you will take a “Community First” approach to processing and leading a range of policy planning projects which will include supporting the Town’s first ever Transit Master Plan. With an emphasis on Transit Oriented Development (TOD) and mobility/transportation planning, you will also be responsible for:

- Streetscape/public realm design, and public transit planning/design.
- Leading various public and stakeholder consultation processes; presenting at Public Meetings, Council Meetings, and at the Ontario Land Tribunal, as required.
- Developing and implementing short and long-term strategies, goals, and objectives for mobility, transit and transportation initiatives based on an understanding of local, regional, and national transportation needs and trends.
- Job Requirements- A University Degree in Urban or Regional Planning, Geography or Transportation Engineering.
- A minimum of 4-6 years progressive experience in a public transit, transportation planning or land use planning environment.
- Full membership of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Ontario Professional Planners Institute.
- A valid Class “G” driver’s license and reliable vehicle to use on corporate business.
- Availability to attend evening meetings or other events, if necessary.
