**What will you be doing **
- Analyze, manage and maintain enterprise GIS geodatabase including server administration.
- Perform regular monitoring and maintenance of web portal to troubleshoot and corporate IT and software vendor to address issues. Monitor and optimize performance of enterprise GIS geodatabase and web portal.
- Establish data transfer standards, data validation and workflow between external contractors and the enterprise GIS geodatabase.
- Review enterprise GIS Software upgrades/extensions/updates to determine benefits and uses for the program,
- Perform scheduled updates for vendor acquired products including data imagery, property boundaries etc.
- Provide technical support to GIS team, GIS users and external contractors.
- Develop datasets and processes to analyze data for specific project needs, including best practices.
- Combine different data sets to identify and analyze patterns to help improve the efficiency of the project.
- Utilize GIS tools to effectively deliver cartographic products in various formats such as digital, print, and interactive GIS portal layers/maps for presentations and reports.
- Work with project teams to anticipate future requirements and opportunities.
- Plan for growth and performance challenges of a rapidly growing enterprise GIS and recommend strategies and solutions.
- Responsible for acquisition, production, management, and visualization of geographical information to address project delivery requirements.
- Facilitate transfer of data between PHAI GIS and CNL contractors and manage issues that arise.
- Work with data schemas, spatial data and non-spatial data consumed by project teams
- Create documentation for the enterprise GIS including data schema’s, performance monitoring, custom tools, and workflows.
- Communicate enterprise GIS technical capabilities, limitations, and trade-offs to non-technical staff.
- Support GIS users in creating workflows for data validation.
- Work with Manager Information Management and GIS team to establish data governance for the enterprise GIS datasets.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.

**What we are looking for**:
**Experience**:

- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise/ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro -ESRI software suite.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar database.
- Experience with customization, automation extract-transform-load (ETL) and supporting tools is an asset.
- Large volume data management and data integration experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is a must, some knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset.
- Some coding/ scripting experience with one or more of the following Python, Microsoft Visual Studio, Arcade, or similar program preferred
- Good cartographic skills.
- Previous experience working within a project environment.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team to complete required tasks in timely and efficient manner
- Familiarity with, and ability to work with third party service providers, contractors, and other data providers;
- Effective written communication skills to prepare required documentation
- Demonstrated analytical, evaluative and interpretive skills to effectively interpret environmental data

- Effective at building relationships. Strong interpersonal skills such as ability to get along with peers and management. A team player.
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to maintain a cordial working relationship at all levels within the organization and with external vendors and contractors.

- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and respond with initiative.
- 5+ years’ experience working in a GIS environment (or with enterprise) in a related role.

**Education**:
**Post-secondary degree or diploma in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) or equivalent combination of education and experience**

**Security Clearance Requirements**:
**Security clearance eligibility required: Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom.**
