**CNC Machinist**

We have an opening for a CNC Machinist based out of our SE Technical Centre. Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, the CNC Machinist is responsible for basic programming and set up and operation of CNC Mazak Lathes and Mills.

**Responsibilities also include**:

- Generate CNC programs for Mazak Lathes and Mills using Mazak Mazatrol Control.
- Set-up and operate CNC Mazak Lathe and Mill.
- Verify and record dimensions of parts and adjust machine accordingly to obtain desired quality of end product.
- Perform maintenance requirements on machines and maintain working area and equipment.
- Assist with training new employees.
- Other machining and QC related tasks as required.
- Assist other departments with various projects when time permits.
- Perform all duties so as to meet the responsibilities listed in the Employee and Corporate HSE Handbooks
- Perform all duties according so as to meet the Company’s quality system procedures and work instructions

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- CNC Machinist: 5 years (required)
