**The Opportunity**
Our Assistant Store Managers are co-leaders who drive profitability by maximizing sales opportunities. They are smart, passionate, confident, skilled, and innovative. Our Assistant Store Managers are dynamic, attentive, inspiring and caring co-leaders who foster an environment of service excellence. They have an outgoing personality, a great sense of style, are great communicators, take ownership of all aspects of their business and know how to set a positive mood and fun atmosphere in their store. They are someone the Store Manager can partner with and rely on to identify business opportunities and lead change.
**Core Responsibilities include and not limited to**
- Growing our business through exceptional customer service and top-performing sales
- Strive to achieve and exceed the stores weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales budgets/goals
- Network, recruit and identify talent to ensure a winning team and build a pipeline of diverse, multi-lingual, highly skilled talent
- Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the floor, meeting and exceeding personal sales budgets/goals
- Maintain operational excellence within the store by ensuring that all store policies and procedures are adhered to
- Sales driven and results oriented by taking action and relating all decisions back to the store results
- Execute visual standards and maintain a safe, inviting store appearance
- Identifying and communicating business opportunities
- Leading smart and positive change
- Model the expectation and hold others accountable
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the dress code and image guidelines
- Control loss prevention through our exceptional customer service and in store awareness
**Requirements and Competencies**
- Proven track record in sales generation and managing the achievement of sales results
- Must be able to work and travel to the 2 store locations
- Open availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proven analytical and organizational skills
- Strong merchandising skills with the ability to drive the business through creativity and extensive fashion knowledge
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and sympathy
- Ability to be clear and convincing when communicating information
- Ability to plan and achieve long and short-term goals
- Ability to take own initiative and take responsibility for actions
- Ability to work strategically, tactically, and operationally
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (boxes, clothing, mannequins, fixtures, etc.) for a short distance
- Ability to climb a ladder and step stool
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 40lbs
