**Warehouse Associate/Quality Inspector**

Link Suspensions of Canada, LP is looking for a **Quality Inspector** to join our Nisku, AB team

**Duties include, but are not limited to the following**:

- Visually inspect/measure incoming raw materials and ensure measurements meet required specs.
- Receive parts into inventory.
- Stage parts for Welding department according to work order and issue parts to work order in ERP system once staged.
- Visually inspect all welded parts and check welding specifications.
- Ensure parts are dimensionally correct as per drawing specifications.
- Report all non-conforming parts found to the Quality Manager.
- Install pieces on parts that cannot be done by Welding.
- Continuous communication with Quality Manager and Welding & Warehouse Supervisors.
- Ensure that delivery deadlines are met and finished product matches the engineering drawing.
- Ensure that company Quality policies are adhered to and strive for continuous quality improvements.
- Cross train with Warehouse Associate to ensure adequate vacation and illness backup coverage between departments.
- Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
- Continuously strive for performance improvements and high-quality work; troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
- Participate in Production process, interacting and working cooperatively with Paint, Warehouse and Welding departments.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
- Ensure that all parts used are charged to work orders.
- Operate bushing press, engraving machine, wheelabrator and grinding tools as necessary.
- Be a team player - help out in other departments as often as time allows.

**Education/Experience**:

- Grade 12 diploma.
- Experience with overhead crane.
- Computer experience and familiarity with in-house software programs.
- Must be able to stand and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods of time.
- Weld inspection experience an asset.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Very safety conscious.
- Background with fabricated components and prior material handling experience is preferred.
