We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Exterior Cleaning and Yard Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves various tasks centered around outdoor pressure washing and general yard maintenance. You will handle both recurring contracts and one-off jobs in commercial and residential settings. Key responsibilities include:

- **Pressure Washing**: Clean building and property exteriors to a high standard.
- **Kitchen Exhaust Systems**: Service commercial kitchen exhaust systems as needed.
- **Dryer Vents**: Clean dryer vents to ensure proper functioning.
- **Yard Maintenance**: Perform various yard maintenance tasks as directed by management.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Maintain and care for equipment as directed.

- **Paid Training**: $20 per hour for initial training shifts.
- **Meal Allowance**: $60 per day for jobs requiring overnight stays (2-3 days out of town), with accommodations provided by the company.
- **Certification Courses**: Company-paid courses for necessary certifications (WHMIS, First Aid, Ladder Safety, etc.).
- **Benefits**: Available for employees who complete a 3-month probation period.

**Requirements**:

- **Reliability & Accountability**: Must be dependable and punctual.

- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues as they arise.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
- **Safety-Conscious**: Ability to identify potential hazards and work safely.
- **Flexibility**: Availability for daytime and early morning shifts.
- **Comfort with Heights**: Ability to work at heights, on ladders, in small spaces, and on roofs in various weather conditions.
- **Driver’s License**: Valid license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- **Vehicle**: Reliable vehicle for commuting to Lantzville (transit options are limited).
- **Experience**: Prior experience with kitchen exhaust systems, pressure washers, or trade services is an asset.
- **Maintenance Knowledge**: Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks.
