Shunt Driver

Position: Local Shunt Driver

Location: Tecumseh, ON

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Operate tractors or shunt trucks to move trailers in and out of loading docks
- Move trailers to designated areas within the facility
- Inspect vehicles for defects before and after each trip
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and fuel consumption
- Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

- Valid commercial driver's license (AZ) with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a shunt driver
- Ability to operate a tractor or shunt truck
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Good understanding of safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb in and out of the vehicle frequently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
