Continental Cartage Inc a division of Landtran Systems Inc has over 60 years of experience in the Trucking Industry. We provide dedicated delivery, warehousing, cross-docking and distribution services across Western Canada.

We are currently looking for an **Intermediate Dispatcher** **for our Flat Deck Division** with **2 years knowledge and experience Dispatching Flat Decks and Over Dimensional** **Loads** The Dispatcher will work alongside Operations and our Drivers to effectively dispatch drivers and equipment in a way that meets on customers expectations.

**Position Details**:

- Ensure work is accurately entered into dispatching system
- Dispatch drivers and equipment
- Actively plan and schedule drivers and equipment to meet clients project requirements
- Communicating with drivers on schedule and work availability
- Manage and direct all incoming dispatch inquires
- Coordinate with Operations and Fleet Manager to ensure equipment is ready for use
- Provide clients with update paperwork
- Maintain and update various documents
- Offer a high level of customer service to our Drivers and Clients
- Maintain and update driver in Truckmate
- Report all driver setbacks to Operations Manager as required
- Ensure proper directions are given to drivers on dispatched loads
- Various other duties assigned by Operations

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **Must have 2 years knowledge with experience Dispatching Flat Decks and Over Dimensional Loads**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of customer service skills
- Hours of Service
- Moderate computer skills with use of various softwares and databases
- Available to be on call rotation every 3 weeks
- Proficient in Microsoft, and Google Softwares
- Previous experience with driver tracking software such as Truckmate

Location: Acheson, Alberta T7X
