General Labourer

**JOB SUMMARY**:

- Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the General Labourer must be able to handle various tasks including the following:

- Repair broken pallets
- Clean mixers
- Participate in production and preventative maintenance of equipment as requested.
- Sort and manipulate concrete products
- Perform yard and plant clean-up and keeps his work area clean
- Repair broken pallets
- Maintain quality standards on products
- Follow all procedures for Health and Safety
- Keep production facilities, shipping/receiving areas clean
- Heavy Lifting
- Ability to work as a team or independently
- Must have your own transportation to & from work
- Must be available to work 50-60 hours per week
- Overtime after 44 hours
- 90 day Probationary Period

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School Diploma
- Manufacturing work experience
- Forklift certification, an asset
- Good teamwork skills and initiative
- Safety oriented
- Good mechanical aptitudes and capability to progress as a machine operator
- Good learning capabilities
- Capability to perform continual physical work in a dusty environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
