- Your challenge- Reporting to the Plant Manager, the- Individual responsibilities- Lead all areas of operations, including production, maintenance, and logistics across multiple locations, in preparation for taking over the role in the future.
- Provide direction to a team of Supervisors and support staff, ensuring they are prepared to step into leadership roles when needed. Manage, coach, and engage staff based on the organization's values and business strategy, with the goal of developing their skills.
- Maximize manufacturing efficiency and lead continuous improvement efforts in his/her sector, with the aim of streamlining processes.
- Participate in the strategic planning process, contributing insights and ideas that align with the unit's business strategy.
- Under the direction of the existing Production Manager, manage operating costs and maximize the return on assets, with a focus on optimizing resources and preparing for future financial responsibilities.
- Accept full responsibility for the Health & Safety program and ensure that a safe working environment is provided for all employees.
- Remain knowledgeable of manufacturing best practices and promote innovation objectives, with the goal of staying ahead of industry trends and preparing for future advancements.
- Ensure support for business relationships and provide technical support when requested, building strong connections and preparing for future collaboration and partnerships.
- Promote Employee Empowerment by maintaining high employee morale and ensuring that all staff are accountable to the organization's success, fostering a culture of ownership.

- **contributing with passion** to our mission.- Experiences and strengths- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or Other relevant fields College diploma in Operations Management or other relevant fields.
- Previous experience in mid-level Operations Management of a manufacturing facility.
- Experience with corrugated manufacturing is an asset, but not a requirement.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing practices and processes.
- Sound understanding of occupational health and safety management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as any other Production tracking systems or ERP's.
- Knowledge in lean manufacturing a plus
