**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in carpentry for a minimum of 2-3 years would be considered a definite asset
- Apprentices can also apply
- Must be a quick learner and a team player
- Must be capable of physical work
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Understand and follow all Construction’s processes and procedures including but not limited to the Health & Safety policy, Nova Scotia guide to construction procedures
- Take direction from Project Managers effectively
- Competent in general carpentry such as framing, baseboards, millwork, installation of doors and frames, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining mouldings.
- Competent in all aspects of fitting and installing windows, doors, flooring, handrails, baseboards etc.
- Competent with all power tools including table saw and compound miter
- Have your own hand tools, safety equipment/gear, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively.
- Have a safe work attitude.
- Able to work indoors and outdoors.
- Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees
- Values and ethics: team player, client focus, accurate, judgement, reliability, effective interpersonal skills
- Must be capable to work at heights.
**Salary**: $18.26-$28.00 per hour
