WeldWorld Gas & Supply is a supplier of high quality industrial gases, welding equipment, and welding supplies. The Warehouse/Driver fills an important role within WeldWorld’s daily operations at our facility in Leduc, AB. Your role is to assist with filling gas cylinders, ensuring orders are picked and filled correctly, scanning all cylinders using tracking software, ensure correct labelling is on cylinders, keep the plant and outside areas clean and tidy at all time. You will be required to assist with the customers needs, resolve any issues that arise, and work with other employees to help WeldWorld’s daily operations. You will also provide holiday coverage and emergency relief for the delivery drivers, which requires Class 3Q license to drive tandem axle truck. This is a highly physical / labour intensive role, both in the warehouse and as a delivery driver

**Specific Job Responsibilities**:

- Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks with cylinders and hard goods
- Use a handheld electronic scanner to document all cylinder activity
- Work with Plant assembly personel to help fill cylinders
- Load skids by hand with cylinders at WeldWorld and at customer sites
- Drive tandem axle truck when required for deliveries
- Keep all work areas clean and tidy throughout all seasons of the year (involves outside work)
- Establish and maintain good customer relationships, communicate in person with customers and all WeldWorld employees.
- Identify and monitor customers’ needs, and work with them and WeldWorld to ensure a good working relationship
- Ensure all WeldWorld and customers’ safety policies are strictly adhered to

**Qualifications**:

- Class 3Q drivers license as a minimum
- Forklift experience is preferred
- Clean Commercial Drivers Abstract, valid within 30 days
- Experience with handling Dangerous Goods preferred
- Ability to move / roll cylinders weighing 170lbs, and lift boxes weighing 60lbs
- Provide a full CV(a detailed resumé) showing previous 3 years employment

**Job Classification**:

- Wages negotiable depending on experience
- Hourly, 40 hour work week, changeable as required
- Full Time employment, with Benefits / Vacation pay

**Salary**: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

**Experience**:

- forklift: 1 year (preferred)
