Electronic Systems Technician

We are looking for an experienced Electronic Systems Technician to join our dynamic team.

**Electronic Systems Technician** (full-time: 40 hours per week)
Assist with various electronic system installations, servicing, repairs and technical support.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Install, program and service of industrial/commercial/residential electronic systems including security alarm, access control, video surveillance, smart home solutions, and automatic doors.
- Educate customers on care and maintenance of electronic systems.
- Knowledge of safety codes and regulations, making sure all work performed is in compliance.
- Maintain records of work performed and submit completed work orders.
- Manage tools, equipment, materials and service vehicle.
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
- Participate in on-call roster to provide 24 hour emergency services.
- Assist other technicians, office staff and management as needed.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as needed.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and represent TLS and its respective customers professionally.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, bilingualism (English/French) is essential.
- Strong technical background with willingness to learn and train in new technology.
- Excellent product knowledge, ability to clearly explain product features and benefits to customers.
- Prepared to use own tools and personal protective equipment.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly, efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Ability to safely and reliably drive and maintain a service vehicle.
**Job Requirements**:
- High school diploma, post-secondary education and technical certification is an asset.
- 3-5 years experience with security alarm installations, card access control and network cabling.
- Clear police record check, possess a valid driver’s license and be insured.
- First Aid Certified is an asset.

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
