Fiber Optic Technician

**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a talented Fiber Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic cables and networks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic systems and components
- Perform splicing, termination, testing, and documentation of fiber optic cables
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure projects meet specifications
- Respond to service calls to troubleshoot and resolve network issues
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards in all work activities

**Skills**:

- Proficient in low voltage systems
- Knowledgeable about Cisco routers and computer networking
- Skilled in using hand tools for installation and maintenance
- Experience with telecommunication systems, including telephone networks
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
- Familiarity with Ethernet technology

Pay: $21.21-$27.52 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
