From concept to completion, this position will work with our team to prepare accurate cost estimates and customer quotes for our products.

**Primary Duties**
- Promote and follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Work with our purchasing and sales departments to accurately understand customer requirements
- Prepare accurate and timely quotes within required deadlines for returnable steel containers and other material handling equipment using MS Excel, ERP software, and customer specific portals and forms
- Engage and communicate effectively with designers and manufacturing departments when needed to satisfy customer needs

**Education, Qualifications & Skills**
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Experience in a steel fabrication/weld environment
- Ability to read blueprints accurately
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (cut, form, weld, paint, assemble, injection mold, vac form) and materials (steel, foam, rubber, plastics, hardware)
- Experience in sales and/or purchasing an asset
- Above average ability to organize, prioritize, and track projects
- Ability to advance multiple tasks to completion
- Computer, written & verbal communication, project management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a positive manner

**Experience**:

- Purchasing: 1 year (preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Blueprint reading: 1 year (preferred)
- Estimating: 1 year (preferred)
