Production Supervisor

Matrix Labour Leasing is currently recruiting various Production Supervisor roles for a highly recognized and long-standing client company based in Halifax, NS. These roles require a mixture of the below qualifications and are dependent on the role. Qualifications vary on schooling and years of supervisory experience. This is a permanent full-time position.
- Hiring for both Day Shift & Night Shifts_

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, and coordinate the work of employees on the crew.
- Assign work, set expectations, and be accountable for completion.
- Ensure quality and timeliness of work are completed within budgeted parameters.
- Assign and status jobs/coordinate an operational schedule.
- Adhere to labour contracts and ensure compliance.
- Communicate with other supervisors to help achieve and maintain a smooth workflow and a high degree of productivity.
- Foster an environment that is focused on safety and recommend process improvement initiatives.
- Comply with all company procedures.

**Education**:

- Completion of some College / CEGEP / Associate's Degree/ Vocational or Technical Training.
- Red Seal or equivalent desirable.

**Requirements**:

- 2 - 3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
- 6 - 9 years of applicable trade experience in an industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or shipbuilding environment.

**_ OR_**
- 4-7 years of supervisory experience in a Marine/Industrial setting.
