**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing failures and performing root cause analysis across the specific product line.
- Setting up test positions/systems/instruments and performing tests
- Conducting circuit adjustments requiring analysis against published electrical standards.
- Performing circuit analysis / functional diagnosis using schematic drawing to troubleshoot and to repair the product which fail to meet performance specifications.
- Test the hardware of the panels.
- Test the configuration of protection and control equipment included in the panels, following, and completing the test instructions provided by the project/Engineering department.
- Test the configuration of loose protection and control equipment, following and completing the test instructions provided by the project department.
- Collaborate in carrying out and preparing tests of the equipment.
- Maintaining electronically
- or processor-controlled machines and test rigs
- Assisting in testing of prototypes & pilot units required to qualify an ECO build
- Processing Non-Conforming (NCM) parts and entering correct failure/defect code in ERP
- Problem solving for continuous process improvement
- Interfacing and driving solutions, with other departments within the organization
- Packing and/or assisting in completing FG units, systems, or panels, when and where applicable
- Assisting in meeting and exceeding the relevant metrics (Output, RK, FPY targets)
- As needed, will be required to fulfill the duties of an Electronic Assembler, including but not limited to mechanical assembly of electrical assemblies and subassemblies and prepare product for shipment including packaging orders, performing out of box audit & physically moving materials from the production cell to the warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned by the Department Manager

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Electronics technologist diploma/certificate or equivalent
- Knowledge of Protection Relays
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in the electronics manufacturing services field
- Strong technical background including experience using electronic test equipment and fixtures, microscopes, mechanical gauges, soldering equipment
- Must be able to read and interpret schematics, manufacturing drawings, specifications, and standards
- Strong computer skills in MS Office and exposure to ERP such as Oracle and Cognos report generation
- Very strong customer focus with proven communication skills
- Self-motivated with a winning, “can do” attitude

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Strong organizational skills
- IPC Repair and Rework Certification preferred but not required
