Pilates Life Studio is a small boutique Pilates apparatus studio located at the Willoughby Town Centre (208 and 80). We focus on exceptional customer service and providing top notch instruction on all pieces of Pilates equipment (aka apparatus): reformer, tower, spine corrector, and chair. We only hire skilled instructors who are comprehensively trained on all pieces of equipment with a minimum of 500hr Pilates teacher training, 1000hr would be preferred. STOTT, Balanced Body, Mindful Movement, and all Classical instructors are welcome here.

**Pilates Instructor’s Role Includes**:

- Leading Pilates apparatus (equipment) classes for privates (1:1), duos (2:1), and small groups (5:1)
- Sticking with teaching mainly traditional Pilates exercises learned from a recognized training program
- Providing clear and concise cues to help clients execute proper form and technique
- Providing hands on cues to help clients feel proper form more effectively
- Modifying exercises as needed to accommodate different abilities, depending on injuries and experience
- Always being caring, kind, and considerate to all clients
- Occasionally demonstrating the Pilates exercises to help with clients who are visual learners
- Starting classes on time and finishing on time, as well as, arriving on time to teach classes
- Taking attendance on the online scheduling system
- Following the rules and policies of the studio

**Requirements**:

- Comprehensive Certification in Pilates instruction (minimum 500 hours of training) from a recognized training program
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be willing to work evening shifts (Mondays 5:20pm, 6:30pm, 7:40pm and Thursdays 5:20pm and 6:30pm)

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
