The Float Leasing Agent will report to the Director of Operations with a dotted line to the CEO of Grandview.

Job Overview
Leasing units in new Multi-Residential Rentals, Active Adults Lifestyle Communities, and Retirement Homes to prospective tenants. Specifically, qualifying leads, developing relations with prospects, and converting prospects to leaseholders.

This part-time float position will be scheduled two weeks in advance to provide coverage at multi-properties throughout the week, including minimum one evening (12-8 pm) shift per week and one day on the weekend (Saturday or Sunday); as well as support the full time Leasing Agents vacation, holiday and sick days. Ultimately the float will be an integral position with Grandview that is cross-trained for multi-properties and filled in as required.

This position will average 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities and Duties
- The primary function of this role is to advance leads through the sales funnel with the ultimate goal of achieving a fully leased community upon opening.
- Respond to all inquiries into the community within a timely and effective manner.
- Must love people and have a genuinely positive outlook to facilitate the prospect experience strategy set out by Grandview Consulting and genuinely develop relationships with each prospect, depositor, and lease-holder.
- Negotiating sales and deposits and assisting in the preparation of leases.
- Ensure proper documentation with Client Management Systems and Grandview processes.
- Complete any lead advancement initiatives, including calling old prospects.
- Keep abreast of new market trends, competitive analyses, and industry best practices.
- Continuously improve through collaborative feedback, mentorship, and coaching.
- Working as a team player is of utmost importance. Collaboration, teamwork, and flexibility to complete the work proactively with a positive can-do attitude.

Accountability Objective

This role's main priority and objective are to support the Grandview team in achieving our lease-up goals. To manage inquiries, facilitate tours, and advance leads. Assist with projects and the Grandview office as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education with a preference for business administration, sales, marketing, communications, public relations, or a background in an industry related to the position: real estate, healthcare, geriatrics, hospitality etc..
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in business, entrepreneurship or management. **Preference for those with experience in geriatric care and senior housing.**:

- Must demonstrate a strong ability to operate as a self-manager with enthusiasm and leadership. Must be able to demonstrate empathy and patience with seniors and families.
- Must demonstrate confidence, intuition, and leadership in communicating with stakeholders, prospects, and referral sources.
- Must have a positive and enthusiastic outlook with an outgoing, friendly and welcoming personality.
- Collaborative nature with an openness to feedback, training, and coaching.
- Must be comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people and promoting the brand with enthusiasm.
- Must understand computers well, including Google Docs and Microsoft programs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability
