**Position: Full-time Cook**

**The Cooks Position**:

- Must be positive, highly motivated, hands-on working member of the team
- Is responsible for producing and fulfilling orders & recipes
- Able to work a flexible schedule within our a la carte operations and banquet functions
- Ensures consistency of quality, portion control and plated presentation
- Strives to provide quality service while maintaining a consistent product
- Is systems oriented with background in pars and food cost modules
- Adheres to all health and safety regulations plus sanitary and safe food handling guidelines
- Able to work within a union environment

**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Cooking & prepping of food products
- Receives deliveries, ensuring quality and proper rotation
- Ability to open & close kitchen
- Ability to properly follow recipes adhering to food costs and wastage procedures
- Ensures all systems new and current are followed
- Ensures hygiene standards are followed at all times
- Follows company policies & procedures
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Other duties assigned from time to time

**Minimum Requirements**:

- 1-3 years line cooking experience
- Experience in resort/golf club environment is an asset
- Experienced with high traffic a la carte service and high-volume banquet service
- Ability to work within a unionized environment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

**Compensation**:

- Wage $19.30 which is commensurate as per Union CBA
