**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Completing administrative duties such as making copies, filing, scheduling meetings, and communicating with counsel, clients, and court staff.
- Opening, organizing, managing, and closing client files.
- Maintaining file organization, including a bring forward system, calendars, and electronic filing.
- Recording, scheduling, and managing court deadlines.
- Preparing and transcribing from dictation letters, court documents, etc.
- Managing legal documents and correspondence in strict confidence.
- Inputting daily time dockets.
- Processing all incoming mail and records.
- Drafting outgoing correspondence to counsel, clients, courts, tribunals, etc.
- Drafting, serving, and filing court documents such as Pleadings, Notice of Examinations, Affidavit of Documents, etc.
- Preparing briefs.

**Qualifications**
- Legal Assistant and/or Law Clerk Diploma from accredited Ontario College.
- 1 - 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant/Law Clerk in a law firm.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with CosmoLex a bonus (not required).
- Positive attitude with excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Ability to work productivity in a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and superior organizational capabilities.
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible.
