Shift: Night Shift Sunday - Thursday (11:15 pm-7:15 am)

Pays: 22.00+/hr (plus shift premium)

JOB SUMMARY

The primary function of this position is to operate and monitor the sheeter and conveyor system, fill feeders, and perform quality checks on crackers according to specific formulas in a timely manner, observing all safety regulations, ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met, and maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process.

Main Job Responsibilities
- Obtain the appropriate supplies (i.e. salt) from staging areas. Monitor the dough, hopper, and waste tray levels, and adjust as required.
- Monitor the sheeter line speeds and ensure controls are running according to product specifications,
- Communicate with mixers and oven operators to ensure smooth processing.
- Perform quality checks and ensure sample crackers meet formulas specifications every ½ hour as required.
- Assist with changeovers, end of the run, and set-ups as required, assist, oven operators as needed.
- Keep the work area clear and clean, wipe down the machine, and place trash in proper receptacles.
- Complete downtime sheets, and all necessary paperwork, and confer with next shift operators.

Skill Requirement
- Knowledge and experience working Bake End operations, including oven operation, dough mixing an asset.
- A team player, possessing the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions and meet the company performance standards for the job.
- Possess a mechanical aptitude and have a good grasp of basic math/measuring skills. Be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools required to perform the job.
- Must be physically fit and able to handle the physically demanding nature of the position.
- Possess a safety-first approach to work, and follow all prescribed procedures including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
