CNC Brake Press Operator

North York, Canada INKAS® Armored Vehicle Manufacturing Full time

Set up, adjust, and operate CNC brake press to work orders and specifications
- Set up brake press tooling for the program in compliance
- Interpret blueprint drawings and execute bend requirements in adherence to specifications
- Perform set ups programming adjustments to ensure the production of quality parts.
- Utilize manual pump trucks, forklifts, cranes (overhead/jib), and lift devices as needed to transport materials and finished products
- Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot issues when necessary
- Ensure parts are manufactured in accordance with quality standards, target plans, and verify correct run quantities
- Conduct visual inspections of parts after each machine cycle and perform inspections as required
- Optimize the running of parts to maximize the machine’s operating time
- Complete production boards with output for the shift and assist in planning afternoon shift production

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of previous experience operating press brake
- Experience on Bystronic press is an asset
- Must be proficient in reading blueprints and instructions
- Ability to work in a standing position for entire shift (normal shift 8-10 hours)
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
