A Day in the life:
The Project Manager position is responsible to prepare and lead emissions testing programs throughout Alberta and Western Canada.

The following list of duties are the responsibility of the Project Manager:

- Prepare scope and costs for source testing projects as requested
- Prepare final source testing reports ensuring they are submitted on time
- Provide direction, guidance and training to environmental specialists
- Collaborate with other managers for scheduling, planning and resources.
- Develop effective working relationships with industrial clients
- Assist in preparation of annual budget for office
- Lead/participate in field-level and general safety assessments.
- Participate in Joint Health and Safety committee (JHSC)

Education Requirements:

- Possesses an Environmental or Chemical degree/diploma. Other diplomas and degrees will be considered
- Knowledge and experience with LDAR related hardware and tools is considered asset

Years of Experience:

- 1+ years in the Oil & Gas industry experience is preferred
- A history of at least five (5) years in a project management and team leadership role

Additional Qualifications:

- Experience with Workday is beneficial
- Experience with LDAR database software programs is beneficial
- Proficient in MS Office especially MS Excel
- Extensive knowledge of Alberta and USEPA manual sampling methods
- Extensive knowledge of USEPA instrumental methods (i.e. CEMS)
- Extensive knowledge of Alberta CEMS Code and Alberta Air Monitoring Directive
- Good verbal and written communication skills

Licensures/Training Requirements:

- Valid Class G Driver’s License is required with a clean abstract
- First Aid, CPR, H2S Alive, TDG, WHIMS are considered an asset

Safety/Drug Screening:

- Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work from heights

Travel:

- Ability/willingness to travel across all provinces as well as the US

Soft Skills:

- Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
- Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to work independently, managing multiple responsibilities (i.e., self-starter, self-motivated)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think and act strategically and proactively
- Resourcefulness, flexibility, and resiliency to operate in a dynamic work environment
- Mechanically inclined and field oriented

- While performing the duties of this job, this position may require the individual to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Standby and on-call duty may be required, and the individual must be able to respond to the facility within one hour
- Some shifts will require working alone
- Must have the ability to lift 20-30 pounds using Company provided equipment
