**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Parks Services Foreman, the Labourer II position performs a wide variety of work functions within the Parks Business Unit under the Public Works Department. The position uses safe work practices and procedures to carry out assigned tasks and contributes to the overall effectiveness of the work team. The Labourer II will be required to work under minimum supervision to perform general grounds maintenance of the cemetery, assist with interments, maintain positive public relations and provide assistance and information services to user groups and public.

**Qualifications**:
This position is within the scope of C.U.P.E. Local 30, and as such, you will be required to adhere to the articles contained within the Collective Agreement. A current Driver’s Abstract will be required at the time of interview.

Hours of Work: 10 hours per day / 40 hours per week (Varying shifts)

Duration: April 29, 2024 to August 23, 2024
