This position collaborates cross functionally with multiple teams and uses analytics to create positive change in all areas for our customers and our triple bottom line. The role will be reporting into our Planning Manager and working closely together with the commercial, supply and financial team delivering an accurate unconstrained to constrained forecast. Managing and updating the models, analyzing the data and providing commercial intelligence to make informed decisions. **Responsibilities**:

- Be the center hub of data from Marketing, Commercial, Innovation, Demand and Supply
- Maintain and update the demand forecasting model in Excel/Power BI
- Collaborate with the key partnership team on a regular cadence to layer commercial intelligence into SKU level forecasts (e.g. distribution changes, pricing changes, trade marketing activity, etc.)
- Complete required demand plan updates/changes in a timely manner and communicate back to stakeholders as required throughout various stages in the S&OP cycle
- Update the supply forecasting model in Excel/Power BI
- Support Supply Planner with the identification and quantification of opportunities and risks to the business and the development of action plans to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks
- Highlight forecast LE (latest estimate) shortfalls vs the commercial AOP (annual operating plan) and work with stakeholders on converting opportunities to close shortfall gaps
- Provides data analysis and insights for our Supply Planner
- Actively participates in Rubicon Organics S&OP process, a key member of production planning meetings with demand and supply teams
- Automate reports and processes to improve forecast accuracy and bias
- Own data accuracy/data clean up issues for assigned product portfolio
- Assist with providing data for ad-hoc forecasting to the commercial and marketing teams
- Advice on product allocations based on orders and inventory levels
- Create the pack mat calculator & other tools/models that increase forecasting accuracy

**Requirements**:

- Passion and interest for the Cannabis industry
- Passion and interest for a high pace / high growth start-up environment
- 1+ years previous work experience within a Supply Chain Planning function and/or experience in FMCGs organizations.
- Expert knowledge in Excel and an aptitude for learning multiple technology systems. Excel pivot table & Excel power query skills are mandatory
- Expertise in Power BI is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Excellent analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills
- Knows how to achieve high quality results and drive deliverables from cross functional partners
- Comfortable in a highly ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
- Excellent communication style with the ability to align cross functional departments (sales, marketing, supply chain, finance) to an unbiased forecast number
