**Overview**
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join our Sushi Bar team. As a vital part of our restaurant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality sushi and exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This position requires a passion for food preparation, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety standards.
**Duties**
- Prepare sushi and other menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in the overall kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with restocking as needed.
- Maintain an understanding of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry.
- Help train new staff members on kitchen procedures and food preparation techniques.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others in the kitchen.
- A passion for the culinary arts, particularly in sushi preparation, is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
