- **Relief Child Care Educator** is responsible for providing quality child care that meets the needs of children and their families. The hourly rate for this position is starting at $18.44 per hour. In addition to the regular wage, your certification level will determine the wage top up from the government grant.**Position Responsibilities**
- Red Deer Polytechnic Children’s Program is looking for:
- Values the importance of play, both inside and out
- The Relief Educator helps support the holistic development and supervision of children when primary Educators are not available

**Required Qualifications**
- Infant/Child First Aid
- Clean Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Record Check
- Minimum Child Care Level 1 Educator, Day Care Qualification Certificate
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent play skills, energetic and flexibility of schedule

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Level 2 or 3 Child Care Educator certification.
- Completion of a 1-year college certificate, or one year university equivalency.
- WHMIS
- Food Handlers Certificate
