**THE OPPORTUNITY**
- Responsible for operating the refrigeration plant safely
- Maintain and operate ammonia refrigeration system and HVAC system
- Assist with repairs and maintenance of the refrigeration systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdown relating to the utilites to ensure mínimal impact to production
- Assist with routine inspection and testing of equipment and infrastructure to ensure proper operations
- Monitor and maintain water treatment facility
- Maintain a safe and clean work environement by operating the facility in accordance with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA)
- Reporting to Chief Refrigeration Operator

THE REQUIREMENTS
- Class "B" Refrigeration Operator designation minimum
- Read, write, and communicate (English)
- Millwright/ or Electrician would be an asset
- Knowledge of food processing is an asset
- Good manual dexterity
- Great attendance record
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience within a TSSA-regulated ammonia facility
- Knowledge and experience on Ammonia Refrigeration Systems
- 2-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing plant (Refrigeration experience a must)
