**I&E Supervisor/Craftsman**

We currently have the following opportunity:

- This is a working supervisor/craftsman position
- Supervise I&E Craftsmen, I&E planner, and contract staff
- Work with Planners, Maintenance Supervisor, Ops/Maintenance Coordinator, and I&E Craftsmen to execute and status weekly schedules
- Work with the Technical group on small scale I&E MOC’s
- Provide support to Technical group in the development of I&E design, scope execution, bill of materials, etc. on various projects
- Champion all aspects of SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation)
- Provide input and direction to I&E and planning/scheduling on I&E PM development
- Ensure all SIL rated loops on site are properly tested and documented
- Lead role for I&E support on all PLC’s (including the Triconex SPLC)
- Work with various groups and provide I&E support on SIL/LOPA
- Take lead role in all I&E SAP material and BOM entries arising from projects and found work
- Ensure all I&E related calibration processes are adhered to and continuously monitored for changes and updates
- Provide I&E support regarding high voltage switchgear
- Participate in the RCFA process
- Act as I&E representative at PSC meetings
- Perform and manage annual site relay process with INEOS I&E employees and I&E planner
- Ensure all I&E staff are current in VTA training, SHE Safety programs and other programs as required
- Approve and manage I&E contractor recruiting processes as per plant requirements
- Work with Maintenance manager to achieve site business requirements in regard to budget and execution deadlines
- Work with Planners, Maintenance Supervisor, and Ops/Maintenance Coordinator to prioritize tasks and workload
- Actively support and drive Asset Care initiatives
- Work closely with Procurement to ensure practices are followed to ensure Planning Execution is effective
- Provide and coordinate off hours site support as required
- Ensure all crews and trades have materials / equipment required to execute work
- Develop all crews and trades with goal to achieve excellence in maintenance practices
- Maintain and enhance safety and environmental standards and practices
- Work with SHE department to support and enhance IGGN initiatives
- Implement plant mechanical integrity programs related to I&E for optimal plant performance
- Work with and guide I&E staff to develop training plans to ensure adequate department coverage / qualifications and individual career advancement opportunities
- The key responsibility is to ensure I&E identified processes, software, and hardware are implemented, maintained, and reviewed as required in the maintenance department

**Certifications and Experience**:

- Inter-provincial Journeyman Instrumentation trade certification (Technologist preferred)
- Inter-provincial Journeyman Electrical trade certification is considered an asset
- Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering Technology is considered an asset
- Supervisory experience, with an emphasis on maintenance functions and processes, and highly effective interpersonal communication skills
- Must have a strong, demonstrated commitment to safety
- Self-motivated, and enjoy working in a team environment
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a cross functional team environment
- Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Focus on streamlining systems and procedures in support of the Team’s objective of providing the best possible service with the allocated resources
- 10 years of industry related experience
- Certified Journeymen status in the Instrumentation and/or Electrical trades with industry experience
- Experience in the planning of turnaround activities for I&E
- SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation) knowledge and experience
- Triconex and Allen Bradley PLC experience and training
- Det-Tronics fire and gas system experience and training
- Experience and knowledge in using and implementing the SIL/LOPA process
- Experience with high voltage switchgear maintenance
- Good understanding of SAP
