Bricklayers Labourer

We are looking for a skilled Brick laborer to join our team and build high-quality, custom residential and commercial buildings. You will play an important role in delivering our projects on time and on budget.

**LOCATION- Whitby/ New Market**
**Shift
- Morning**
**8-12 hour shift**

**Responsibilities**
- Build, construct, and repair structures using different masonry techniques (e.g., block masonry, brick masonry, block masonry, block-and-mortar, concrete, steel, etc.)
- Measure and prepare structures (e.g., measurements, drawings, tools, equipment)
- Lay and configure mortar and cement compounds using concrete mixers or mixers with concrete stabilizers
- Mix concrete mixers using power tools or by hand to prepare concrete structures
- Perform various tasks to prepare surfaces (e.g., leveling, painting, grouting)
- Inspect and verify the quality of completed structures
- Conduct minor repairs or maintenance at regular intervals (e.g., fixing a broken window shutter or fixing a door hinge)
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with building codes and federal & state building codes

**Qualifications**
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to read construction drawings/blueprints necessary
- Able to do heavy lifting
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- **Must have a car(commute by car only)**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

- Whitby, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
