_Pilaros International Trading Inc._ is the leading importer of Mediterranean food products in North America. Serving Canada and the U.S. from coast to coast, we supply many major supermarket chains, distributors and ethnic stores with the best Mediterranean food products in the marketplace.

This position is for the GTA area reporting to the Scarborough office. The head office is situated in Quebec.

The sales representative interacts directly with customer at store level. He/she is responsible for identifying customer’s needs, pitching relevant products and promotions, and ensuring they have a carefree experience. He/ she is dynamic in the field servicing their customers, building relationships that will be mutually beneficial. He /she must have a growth mindset.

In this employment, you will be in contact with Directors, Manager, Regional manager at major grocers and Owner/Operators or Managers in independent and ethnic markets.

He/she will have the responsibility to onboard new clients and to establish different partnerships with current customers while continuing to develop the territory. In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks.
- Developing and maintaining business relationship with customers.
- Visit and service accounts to obtains orders.
- Presents, promotes, and sells our products to both existing and potential customers.
- Consistently pushes promotions planned in national marketing plan.
- Drives, executes, and develops on all corporate activity issued by Pilaros HO.
- Possesses strong research skills to continuously improve and update themselves on product and industry knowledge to answer questions about the products.
- Resolves customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, making recommendations to management.
- Monitors & document competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, techniques, etc.
- Plan and organize their daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.
- Updates the regional sales supervisor and maintains an open line of communication through a daily/weekly activity report.
- Possess the analytical acumen to review and analyse their territory sales level and react accordingly to achieves agreed upon sales targets.
- Participate to sales meeting by sharing input about the state of the market.
- Continuously prospect new accounts & generate leads.
- Minimum 3 years+ experience of sales or development in the food industry.
- Customer service skills to listen to customers and professionally answer questions or address concerns.
- Strong public speaking skills to present products and services to customers
- Strong skills in written and oral communication and proven expertise in negotiation with customers
- Communicate skills to confidently make cold calls or negotiate sales terms.
- Competency with a computer
- Passionate about food.
- Valid driver's license and own a car.
- Maintains a professional relationship with all customers, dresses appropriately.
- Participate at food shows held by Pilaros. Role will be to set up the booth and meet with customers.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
