Greater Toronto Area, Canada Vickery Technical Services Electrical Contracting Ltd. Full time

Vickery Technical Services is hiring an experienced Journeyman Powerline Technician.

**Requirements**:

- A valid Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities Powerline Technician certificate (or equivalent)
- 2 years of relevant electrical experience
- Promote a safe and organized workplace
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and pertinent regulations
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record - AZ or DZ a strong asset
- A valid police check, including Vulnerable Sector
- Confined Space certificate
- Working at Heights certification
- First Aid CPR/AED certificate

**What you bring to Vickery Technical Services**:

- Excellent Communications skills with co-workers and customers
- Experience using Line & Bucket trucks, climbing poles using spurs or ladders
- Hands on experience with placing strand, tension requirements and all pole hardware
- Superior problem-solving skills
- A desire for continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to lead and effectively work with team and mentor apprentices
- Sound knowledge of approved methods, materials, and tools used in line construction and maintenance work
- **Positive attitude and good work ethic**
