**Job Overview**

SHORT TERM CONTRACT TO FINSH A 75% COMPLETE PROJECT

We are seeking immediately a Journeyman Electrician to act as a lead installer/foreman to complete a multi-family project. We can pay as an employee for contract term or as a subcontractor. We need to finish EMT conduit, wire pulling, splicing, installing fixtures in a low rise multi-family building. The applicant must be extreamly well versed in running a project and installing electrical equipment. You will have an electrical helper/apprentice to aid you in your duties completing an electrical project.

DECEMBER TO END OF JANUARY IN RICHMOND

**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical crews on-site to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore for project tracking, documentation, and communication.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Manage budgeting processes related to electrical projects, including cost estimation and resource allocation.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians, fostering a culture of safety and excellence in workmanship.
- Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within larger construction projects.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any changes made during the project lifecycle.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., ProCore) and Bluebeam for project documentation and collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, blueprint reading, and construction estimating techniques.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while promoting a positive work environment.
- Familiarity with quality control practices in the electrical field to uphold high standards of workmanship.
- Solid understanding of budgeting principles related to construction projects.
- Ability to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders through effective communication.
