Skilled Asphalt Raker

**Job Overview**
King Asphalt Maintenance is looking to hire hardworking and **experienced **Asphalt Raker to join our team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Shoveling and raking gravel and asphalt.
- Ensure that proper grades and slopes are maintained
- Attention to detail is an asset.
- Experience in operating other tools and heavy equipment used in asphalt construction preferred.

**Other Duties include**:

- Assist in the installation and maintenance of asphalt surfaces, including paving parking lots, and driveways.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment around the worksite.
- General labourer duties associated with all aspects of asphalt paving and maintenance.
- Ensure worksite safety by following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear.
- Perform other duties as assigned by foreman.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in the asphalt/paving industry.
- Engage in physical labor including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Valid G-Licence required.
- Must be able to commute to and from shop/jobsites.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with co-workers.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.

**Salary**: $17.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 60 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
