Dog Trainer

Responsibilities:

- Training and walking of Client Dogs.

Must have relevant Dog Training Certifications.
- Development and implementation of both private and group Dog training programs/packages offered to our clients.
- Consultation and assessment of dogs with their owners regarding training.
- Dog Walking-
- Group and private solo Walk dogs as needed.
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs during walks.
- Responsible for the safety and well being of client dogs.
- pick up/drop off of client dogs.
- Follow specific instructions provided by dog owners regarding their pets' needs and preferences
- Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly
- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients
- assist with daily facility/vehicle cleaning and maintenance to company standards.

**Skills**:

- demonstrated dog training skills/certs.
- ability to manage 10-15 client dogs at a time under control.
- Customer service: Ability to communicate effectively with dog owners and provide excellent customer service.
- Heavy lifting: Capable of handling larger dog breeds and assisting with any necessary lifting or restraining

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
