**Who we’re looking for**:
Fastfrate Group is looking for a qualified Claim Adjuster at our Woodbridge, Ontario office. You’ll bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well planning and organization ability necessary to perform the role effectively.

- Proactive in finding resolutions, with sense of urgency and responsiveness.
- Effective analytical skills including identification of cause-and-effect dynamics.
- Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them.
- Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature, perform and understand advanced numerical calculations.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities in an effective manner.
- Ability to handle pressure with a calm demeanor, especially during conflict and difficult situations.
- Effective written skills including grammar and those of a technical in nature.
- Effective oral skills, including listening, interviewing, negotiating, etc.
- Excellent customer service skills and ensures that all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely manner.

**What you’ll do**:

- Investigation and Adjudication of Cargo Claims. Subrogation Claims.
- Claims & Claim’s reports, declination & subrogation letters.
- Claims Prevention.
- Conflict Resolution.
- Perform duties assigned to him/her in compliance with established work standards, policies, and procedures.
- people skills with bias towards building relationships with own team.

**Must Haves**:

- Minimum 2 years Transportation background in OSD & Cargo Claims.
- Knowledge and Understanding of Bill of Ladings, Transportation Law, Contract Law, OSD (Over Short & Damage), Cargo Claims, Salvage, Interline Carriers, Shipping & Receiving, Intermodal Transportation.
- Completion of high school education; University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance will be given preference.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive).
