We are hiring for a **Press Operator** to run a 200 ton press making metal shingle and shingle blanks. This position will be suitable for someone who possesses a mechanical background.

**Responsibilities**
- Daily inspections of press
- Load coil
- Feeding/loading coil
- Die setup
- Preparing labels for boxes
- Producing product using various presses
- Inspection of product
- Packaging product
- Stack boxes onto skids
- Complete production paperwork
- Report press or die issues to maintenance
- General housekeeping of work area
- Other duties as required
- Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times

**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Certifications**
- Forklift experience required
- Die set up experience an asset
- Attention to Detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to work to meet deadlines
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
- Effective communicator with co-workers and all levels of management
- Physical Demands; standing for long periods bending, twisting, noise (machinery, punch presses)
