**Position Overview**

Within our Mental Health and Addictions Center, the Community Rehab Worker is responsible for supporting the client on the road to recovery.

CHALLENGES AWAITING YOU
You'll be a member of the multidisciplinary team providing mental health care (psychiatry and psychosocial follow-up). You will support clients in their recovery by helping them develop coping and interpersonal skills, self-management, problem-solving, crisis and relapse prevention, etc. Coaching, modeling and counseling are offered on an individual or group basis. In addition, as part of multidisciplinary work, he supports the team by offering group co-facilitation, psychoeducation, community networking and clinical-administrative functions related to services rendered to clients.

TEMPORARY FULL-TIME POSITION for undetermined period.
Possibility of day and evening shifts, as well as 8 and 12 hours shifts.

**Criminal Check**

As a pre-condition of employment:

- All new HGH employees will be required to obtain and provide a satisfactory Police Records Check dated within six (6) months from the date of issue.
- As of now, HGH will require all employees, physicians, learners, contractors and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

**What we are looking for**
- College degree in Health or Human sciences or social work.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Mental Health and/or Concurrent Disorders.
- Familiarity with the programs and community resources in mental health and concurrent disorders is an asset.
- Experience in individual counseling and support (problem-solving, role-playing, support).
- Experience in group facilitation, delivery of psycho-educational sessions, etc.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Ability to identify and assess risk situations.
- Write progress notes, convey succinct clinical information to a team, complete a variety of forms, prepare treatment plans and facilitate workshops.
- Availability to work evenings.
- Good communication skills in French and English, spoken and written.
